2. AI & Voice Processing

When you use voice-based features within ORRIN, your audio recording is securely transmitted to OpenAI solely for speech-to-text transcription.

OpenAI processes the audio and returns only the transcribed text to ORRIN.

The transcription is then securely transmitted to ORRIN's backend services to generate AI responses and provide requested functionality.

Voice recordings are not used by ORRIN for advertising purposes.

Only the information necessary to provide the requested AI functionality is transmitted.

3. User Consent

Voice recordings are only processed after the user explicitly grants microphone permission and initiates a voice interaction.

By using voice features, you consent to the processing of your audio solely for speech recognition and AI response generation.

4. Third-Party Services

To operate ORRIN, we may share limited information with trusted service providers including:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Cloud hosting and storage
• Firebase – Authentication, analytics, notifications, crash reporting, and backend services
• OpenAI – Speech-to-text transcription and AI-powered assistant functionality

These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services.

5. Analytics

ORRIN uses analytics and diagnostic tools to understand app performance, improve stability, and enhance user experience.

Analytics may include anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, device information, and feature usage.

6. Subscriptions

ORRIN offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple App Store and Google Play.

Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google.

ORRIN does not collect or store your payment card information.

Subscription renewal, cancellation, billing, and refunds are managed by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their respective policies.

7. Data Sharing

ORRIN does not sell personal information.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate the platform, including cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, authentication providers, AI providers, and payment platforms.

Information is shared only to the extent necessary to provide requested services.
